Seeking inspiration for his latest horror novel, a New York writer retreats to a remote cabin in the Appalachian mountains accompanied by his secret lover. A twist of fate turns the romantic interlude into an abduction murder case when the writer's lover mysteriously goes missing and he becomes the prime suspect


ABOUT THE PROJECT

Newfoundland Films presents HOLLOW CREEK, an independent film production of a chilling thriller to be shot in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia later this year. Pre production has started and several film locations in the are of Pineville, Mullens, Cairo and Parkersburg have already been secured. Among them the beautiful historic Itmann building located in the outskirts of Mullens. Newfoundland Films will be holding open castings in the area late this summer to fulfill some supporting roles, several small roles and for extras. 1-OLD FARMHOUSE, preferably in an isolated area, needs to look like it can have an attic and basement

2-CREEPY ATTIC, preferably one that is finished or the art department can turn into a boys attic room

3-OLD BATHROOM WITH ANTIQUE LOOKING BATHTUB

INTERIORS OF A LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM, AND KITCHEN (that could belong to an old farm house)
